Mission of St. Junia

 

 

Reverend Laura is a college professor and priest in the United Catholic Church. She holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in History of Christianity from the University of Notre Dame, and a B.A. in Religious Studies, cum laude, from Santa Clara University. She completed her training in spiritual direction at Shalom Prayer Center in Mt. Angel, Oregon, and is an active member of the professional organization Spiritual Directors International. She has worked as a counselor and supervisor of volunteers at a crisis pregnancy center,, and a resident staff member at a shelter for homeless women and families. Laura is the joyous spouse of Matthew and mother of Rachel, Nicholas, and Katie Rose. She considers it the highest privilege to accompany and celebrate with others on their own spiritual journeys.
